Events Policy

Purpose

This Event Policy outlines the rules and guidelines for attending and participating in events hosted by Discovering Legacy ("we," "us," "our"). By registering for or attending any of our events, you agree to comply with this policy.

 

Registration

  • Registration Process

    • All attendees must register for the event in advance through our designated registration system. Registration fees, if applicable, must be paid in full at the time of registration.

  • Confirmation

    • Upon successful registration, you will receive a confirmation email. Please bring this confirmation to the event for check-in.

 

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation by Attendee

    • If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us in writing at least 5 days before the event to receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 5 days before the event are non-refundable.

  • Cancellation by Organizer

    • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the event at any time. If the event is canceled, registered attendees will receive a full refund. If the event is rescheduled, attendees may choose to attend the rescheduled event or receive a refund.

Code of Conduct

  • Respect and Inclusion

    • We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all attendees. Harassment, discrimination, and inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

  • Behavior

    • Attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner. This includes respecting the rights and property of other attendees and the event venue.

 

Health and Safety

  • Health Guidelines

    • Attendees must comply with all health and safety guidelines in place at the time of the event. This may include wearing masks, social distancing, and other measures as required.

  • Emergency Procedures

    • Attendees should familiarize themselves with the venue's emergency procedures and follow all instructions provided by event staff in the event of an emergency.

 

Photography and Recording

  • Consent

    • By attending the event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded by our designated personnel. These materials may be used for promotional or educational purposes.

  • Restrictions

    • Personal photography and recording may be restricted in certain areas or during specific sessions. Please respect any signage or announcements regarding these restrictions.

 

Liability

  • Release of Liability

    • We are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property that may occur during the event. Attendees participate at their own risk.

  • Insurance

    • Attendees are responsible for their own insurance coverage for travel, health, and personal property.

 

Changes to Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Event Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is the attendee's responsibility to review the policy periodically.
